For
Foreign Students
You
have two ways to fill out an Application for Admission:

(Just download the
application, print it out, complete it, and mail or
fax it to LIT.)
If
applying as an F-1 student, you also need to submit
the following:
1. Application for
Admission 2. Photocopy of Passport (Identification
Section). 3. A financial statement to verify that
you can meet both tuition and living expenses while
attending LIT. The amount of at least $14,500.00 US
is required for a six-month period for a single person.
For each dependent, add $3,000 per person.
Acceptable forms are
as follows: a. A notarized personal bank
statement or letter from the bank in English; or b.
A notarized letter of support and a bank letter from
source of support.
4. Application Fee
of $100.00 (Non-refundable)
For
Transfer Students
If you already have
an F-1 visa and are planning to transfer to our school,
we need the following documents
before we can process
your application:
1. Application for
Admission 2. A completed copy of the Transfer
Release Form.doc signed by the school you are currently
attending 3. Photocopy of your student visa, I-94,
Passport, and I-20 4. A financial certification

For
Students Already in U.S.
Simiply visit
LIT and apply in person, or call us for an appointment.
Admission
Requirements
Full-time students
must complete an application for admission along with
an application fee of $100.00, which is non-refundable.
Anyone with the minimum of a high school diploma or
its equivalent (G.E.D.) will be accepted. Full-time
students are defined as those taking a minimum of 18
clock hours per week. There is no special requirement
for part-time students other than meeting the prerequisite
for each class and completing the registration form.

this registration form before the first day of class.

the full amount of this course payable to LIT.

Person
- At the Learning Institute
of Texas, Monday through Friday (08:00 a.m. ~ 3:00 p.m.)

Planning
Your Arrival
Please check
in with LIT at least three (3)days before your scheduled
start date. This will give you time to meet
the LIT staff, take
the placement test and purchase textbooks so that you
will be ready to start your study.
Special
Program
For students seeking
additional English instruction, LIT also offers programs
targeted at specialized goals, such as standardized
test preparation.

We offer: TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
instruction for students wanting
to attend an American university.
